Canadian Freestyle Committee Vote

Hi,

I am sorry if this is the first time that you hear about this. However, This is your chance to help us mold a new Canadian Freestyle Committee. This will be a new beginning for Freestyle in Canada and the new committee will have a mandate to promote the sport at all levels.

Here is the info for the voting from Ruth Gordon (current committee member and canadian Freestyle Champion)

I have been teaching, competing, and helping organize events in whitewater kayaking all across the country and internationally since 1996.
I have also been on sport organization Committees in the Alpine Ski industry. I have been involved in sport events from local competitions to World Championships and even had the privledge of being at the Olympics.

Robert Zwanenburg I was asked to post a short bio so this is who I am:
Career: Helicopter AME and Technical Services Supervisor – Canadian Helicopters
Kayaking – Kids – Community:President and Founder of CReW: the Cornwall Recreational Whitewater Club & The Adventure Sports Access Group Inc.
Since 2006 we have been providing Youth Programs… and community kayaking events for kids who do not have the same opportunities as my own. CReW also has worked to promote kayaking for recreation and competition for children and teens with an emphasis on family paddling and fun.

I have been kayaking in one form or another since 1977. Interest in Freestyle started when my son, in 2004, started to take notice of the discipline. His (and my daughters) interest has grown and so has mine.

Salut Jim, Vous aver raison but….

En consideration des retraint de temp c’etait le plus facile et tres vite.

In future communications and a more transparent method of doing business will be worked on as will many things across the country.
