My apologies for not posting in French. I am not fluent enough to write but thought I would respond to the CORE comments.
How strong is the new CORE / Easton paddle shaft…? Take a quick look at the video on the blog.
This is the strongest paddle on the market. ANY of the other paddle shafts noted in the above post would have failed under the same loads. The shaft noted in the video is also a touring shaft and is 20% lighter than the final production spec. WW shafts.
CORE Paddle Strength
It has taken close to 2 years to develop this technology and it is incredible. Numerous advantages for this shaft are the fact that it is 400+% stronger in impact resistance, than ANY composite, and the shaft is ONE piece completely eliminating the center joint. This makes the CORE Paddles lighter and stronger than any competitors. Easton alloy should not be confused with the aluminum paddles of old. Try one in the spring and you will end up buying one
